The fourth album recorded by the German band "Monoblock" continues the musical and qualitative development of the past releases, on to ambitious, melodic Gothic Metal with progressive influences and German vocals. "KinderAugenBlicke" was released in the beginning of 2007 and is so far the latest release in the 10-year-old band history.
The band was started in Meerane, Saxony during the year 1998. The first three members to be part of Monoblock were Christian Litzba, Frank Koppe, and Silas Höbald. In 2002, the couple Franz and Stefanie Steinert joined the band. Monoblocks first release with this lineup, "Blutige Jahre" (Bloody Years), was played live at many concerts, including Wave-Gothic-Treffen 2004 in Leipzig. In spite of great differences in their daily occupations, they managed to develop into a creative unity of musicians, whose latest release, according to webzine Powermetal, is a true masterpiece.
